The most impeccable part of this story is the awe-inspiring art. Towering over the tiny stature of the dwarfs is a living, blooming forest. The attention to detail in the arts, and the lively postures of the characters gives a bright outlook.
“Hakumei to Mikochi” is a 2011 manga series by Takuto Kashiki. Enterbrain publishes the series, with the most recent edition released in January 2017. There are also editions available in French by Komikku comics.
A description at MyAnimeList.net reads: “Nine centimeters (3.5 inches) tall, the tiny girls Hakumei and Mikochi live in the forest. Living in a tiny house in a tree, riding insects and birds, and making umbrellas out of leaves, these tiny girls live a tiny life. Follow their tiny but lovely lives as they live their day to day in a fantastic world of tiny people and gods.”
“Hakumei to Mikochi” is a fantasy slice-of-life anime that may be worth watching! The characters’ appearances look interesting and their lifestyle is unique. The story is popular enough to have reached several manga volumes. We’ll have to wait and see what the life of a dwarf brings!
